Our Story
Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe began in 2016, but it truly took off in the fall of 2019 when Jaime decided to turn her passion for baking into a business. After years of hearing, “You should sell your cinnamon rolls and cookies!”, she finally took the leap—and Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe was born!
What started as a small cottage bakery has grown into a licensed commercial baking business. Today, our products are prepared through a commercial kitchen in Farmington, Minnesota, allowing us to serve custom-order customers, community events, and wholesale partners.
This is truly a family-run business!
👨🍳 Andrew (aka "The Dough Boy") is the master of mixing and helps with baking.
🎨 Emma brings her creative talents to the kitchen and helps at events.
🔧 Eric is our behind-the-scenes guy, handling setup, packing, and prep work.
You can find us at:

🎪 Pop-ups and special events throughout the year
We love what we do, and we love sharing our passion for homemade treats with our community. Thanks for being part of our journey—we can’t wait to bake for you!
Why Spider Monkey’s?
We got our name from Jaime’s childhood nickname. Her grandfather saw her for the first time and she was a long, lanky, little baby and he said “that’s my spider monkey!” He called her that for the rest of his life. We thought it was a fun memorable name and a great way to honor Jaime’s connection to her family.
Our Philosophy
At Spider Monkey's Bake Shoppe, we believe that baking is an art form. We take pride in creating beautiful and delicious cookies and other treats that will make your special occasion even more special. We also believe that baking should be fun, and we enjoy creating new and exciting recipes that our customers will love.
