Cookie Class Break Update

We know how busy life gets — especially in the summer when the days are long but fly by way too fast! ☀️ With our exciting shift into wholesale and some lower class registrations, we’ve made the decision to pause our public cookie classes for July and August.

But don’t worry — Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe and Angry Inch Brewing will be back in September with more sweet fun! In the meantime, you can still catch us through our Lakeville Parks & Rec classes or book a private class — Angry Inch would be happy to host!

Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!?

That’s what Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe is all about!

These classes are based in and around Lakeville/Farmington MN and cater to the beginner cookier or people just looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-or-guys-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you.

For our classes, all you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you are a messy decorator), and I’ll take care of the rest. Oh – and bring eyeglasses so you can see the instructional PowerPoint if your eyesight is anything like mine. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them during the 1.5 to 2 hour class. You will leave the class with your very own box of your very own newly decorated cookies!

A little about me – I’ve been baking sugar cookies since October 2016 (teaching classes since Dec. 2022) – and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). My favorite cookie themes to decorate are Spring, Holiday and Summer – but I can do pretty much anything if icing’s involved. I love what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!
